The city of Carvin is located in the former coal mining area South of Lille. It benefits from a strategic geographical location, at a gateway to Europe.
The Centre Communal d’Action Sociale leads a social development policy of the town.
Three big roles make up the expertise of CCAS:
• social action and support
• helping and occupying senior citizens
• social and occupational insertion
For 10 years, CCAS has chosen to provide support services to help people in need, go back into work. To do so, CCAS got closer to the business sector and has set up tools and methods adapted to its beneficiaries, may they be young people, adults or on social benefits.
In modern times, the challenge is always to sustain these employees in work. Working jointly with our partner Carvin Entreprises, the IMPRESS project was able to establish an innovative and common post recruitment strategy to address this challenge.
